Description

Due to a large number of requests, I have decided to make a fourth Homo Perfectus storygame (despite my claims of Homo Perfectus 3 being the final one).

-If you haven't read the previous ones, this one contains MASSIVE spoilers-

A month has passed since the events of Homo Perfectus 3, and Eve has embraced her new role as Shade, but has detached from society as much as she possibly can. However, more genetically altered beings are being brought into this world as Michael Thorne, a former collegue of Meckard's, tries to take steps towards human perfection.

Actually, this story is more linear than Hp5. In Hp5, each character has 6-18 endings, whereas there are only two in this story (aside from dying). I suspect you mean that Eve's path in Hp5 is more linear, which is true, the diversity is more in the other characters.
Also, I am surprised Killer Croc was the example you took, instead of Sammael or Abomination, who obviously play a much bigger role in this story than Scales.
Of course, whether pictures I use are known by readers or not depends on the readers. There are probably readers who are familiar with all of them and others who are familiar with none.

I like this one better than the Fifth because I have more options to choose from. I felt I had more power to choose the outcome.

One thing I suggest for this game, and the series overall, is to not use pictures that people could easily recoginze. For one of the characters, I could easily tell it's Killer Croc from The Batman Arkham Asylum video game. Me knowing that makes the character seem less than original than he actually is.

I will admit though that you have good battle scenes. It's always nice to expect a good boss fight in a series and you do well in that regard.

I'll start with the criticism, to get it out of the way: 'Powers' system was originally streamlined, intuitive and quick to use. The new one is fiddly and time consuming. At no point did I have to use a combination of powers, so the possiblilty of using them in concert is utterly redundant. The sheer faff of using the new system made me want to quit on more than one occasion.

Thankfully, the good outweighs this (Barely); it's yet another excellent Homo Perfectus story, and I really enjoyed playing it.
